This recipe book combines low-cost recipes for families who frequent food banks, pantries, or distribution sites.

One of my most rewarding volunteer experiences was at a food distribution site where community members received a box of fresh produce and food. In addition to the food itself, each box also included recipe cards for some of the produce they got that week. This book collects it all into a handy resource of recipes that only use ingredients, appliances, and techniques that a low-income family with little food experience could use.
